Radovljica

The vast forests of the Jelovica Plateau invite cyclists to discover these ancient transport routes and mountain pastures. The Jelovica Plateau Cycling Route is suitable for well-prepared and experienced cyclists.
The route predominantly follows gravel roads, which wind their way through the Jelovica Plateau's forests and pass by its mountain pastures and outstanding viewpoints. The suggested starting point is in the village of Spodnja Lipnica, but the route can be commenced from
Radovljica or any other point in the Lipnica Valley. The route comprises three demanding sections: the ascent to the mountain pastures of Talež and Goška Ravan, and the section between the Razpok and the top of the Jelovica Plateau.
If you want to enjoy the beautiful views of
Lake Bled, visit the Talež Hut. You can enjoy a well deserved meal served at the hut at Talež, Goška Ravan or Vodiška planina mountain pastures; at the latter, you can rest your tired limbs in the shade of the centuries-old linden tree or even stay the night.
