Žužemberk - Veliki Lipovec - Ajdovec - Frata - Globodol - Zijalo - Mirna Peč - Luknja - Češča vas Trail length: 37.1 km. We will set off from Žužemberk Castle with its characteristic Renaissance defence towers and then ride along the remnants of the Roman path towards the Globodol plain to the second and third sources of the Karst Temenica River: Zijalo at Mirna Peč and Luknja at Prečna. This trail is included in the package HTN 16

We will ride from Žužemberk past the Church of St. Mohor and Fortunat towards Zafara, and then past Naral’s Cross to Trebča vas, where we will turn left onto the field trail for Mali Lipovec. Afterwards we will ride along field and forest trails, ascending to Doljni Ajdovec where we will turn right towards Frata. Here we can rest and then continue left onto the Globodol plain. From Gornji Globodol we will continue towards Vrpeč and descend down to Zijala, and then past Biška vas, turning towards Mirna Peč. We can take a break here overnight or continue on towards Golobinjek . Here we will ride along the macadam trail which leads through the Pogorelec forests to Prečna.
