The original elements of the Church of St Leonard in Kropa date back to the fifteenth century, but it has been remodelled on several occasions. The church's façade features several superlative tombstones made from rock or cast iron, and a memorial plaque dedicated to the victims of World War I. Adjacent to the church is a cemetery, adorned by a wrought-iron cross and numerous wrought-iron or rock tombstones.
The church boasts five altars. The niche of the high altar features a statue and painting of St Leonard.
The altar painting of the Immaculate Mary was painted by the best-known female Slovene painter, Ivana Kobilica, in 1895. Furthermore, a range of wrought-iron elements, created by Kropa's iron forgers in the twentieth century, can be found in the church.
