Canyoning Slovenia - Through the centuries our rivers and streams excavated narrow canyons that are famous for its natural beauties. Inside the gorge you can find emerald green river pools and rarely seen waterfalls. With Adventure center Nomad 2000 you will take a ride through the hidden deep canyons of Bohinj and Bovec, travelling from the prehistoric rise of the Alps to the existence of the the Triglav National Park. Canyoning includes swimming, jumping into the river pools and abseiling.
Some people find hydrospeed in Slovenia as one of the most extreme water activities carried out on the Sava Bohinjka river and the Soča river. There is only a river board between us and the river when we lie on the board and hold it with our hands. Lying on it and using fins we can navigate through the river rapids and experience the river current.
We organize climbing in Slovenia and neighbouring countries, under the supervision of qualified and experienced instructors. If you decide to try out this type of sport yourself, you can join us on one of our day trip climbing adventures, where we will teach you about basic climbing and descending techniques. During hot summers best climbing areas are those that face the northern side or can be found in the shades of the trees. Climbing areas in Bohinj or in Bohinjska Bela, both located in the Triglav national park, are a good place to start in those hot summer days, since you can cool off afterwards in Lake Bohinj or Lake Bled. And when climbing in the spring or fall, you should choose climbing areas located at the seaside in Slovenia or the neigboring Croatia, like Črni Kal, Osp and Rovinj, where you will still be warm even when there is already snow in the inner parts of the country.
Our activities are performed with mobile units, with a van, our driver and guide. If your activities take more than a day we can arrange the transfer from one location to another or helping you with hotel/hostel reservations.
