Winegrower, cellarman, and sommelier Milan Hlebec and his family cultivate 18,000 vintage vines to produce top quality Šipon, Renski Rizling, Laški Rizling, Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Rumeni Muškat, Muškat Otonel, Traminec, and late harvest and ice wines.
In a friendly Prlekija setting of vineyards and forests, a plate of homemade cold cuts tastes delicious: pork preserved in lard, homemade sausages, minced lard with onions, and vegetables. Flat cakes made with buckwheat, cabbage, pumpkin, cheese, or apple are unforgettable Prlekija specialties. Their pear, plum, and grape brandy is also available in attractively designed bottles.
You can walk through the vineyards to the viewpoint tower 500 meters from the farm, help set up the wind rattles, help with the grape harvest and baptizing the must, and join in other farm chores. You can also tour the Ormož, Jeruzalem, and Ljutomer Wine Roads.
