On the ''Poljšakova brajda'' Farm they cultivate 3.5 hectares of vineyards, where they produce the following wines: Laški Riesling, Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Rebula, Malvazija, however, they are the most proud of their Vipava old autochthonous sort – ZELEN. Red sorts: Barbera, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. They offer open as well as bottled wines. Darko Poljšak's vineyards are located on the sunny hills around the wine village of Šmarje na Vipavskem. A degustation area for around 40 people is also being arranged on the farm. Besides wine they will also offer you home made culinary specialities. Šmarje is one of the villages on the Vipava Wine Road. From the ''Poljšakova brajda'' Farm there is a wonderful view of the Vipava Valley on one side and the Branik Valley and Karst on the other side. The surroundings offer a whole range of pleasant walks, and the path Vrtovčeva pot leads through Šmarje, which is the birth place of Matija Vrtovec. Every year on the Sunday after St. Martin's Sunday, they organise a mass MARCH ALONG ''VERTOVČEVE POTI'' paths.
