The association was established in 2002. It has 30 members and it performs its activities within the local community of Dutovlje. Our goals are to enliven the social life in the village and to inform and encourage the villagers to take a more active part in the process of promoting tourism and interesting sights in Karst. Our wish is to open a tourist information centre in Dutovlje and in this way to promote the special sights of our village and Karst even more. Within the range of our tourist office we wish to open a wine shop. Constant activities of Tourist Association Kras Dutovlje: encouraging the locals to make local communities look nice, organizing trips and similar events with the purpose of locals getting together, taking part in various entertaining and cultural events as: Praznik terana in pršuta, festivities of Martinovanje, Shrovetide…, mountaineering and cycling on the Karst paths, organizing tournaments of football for children and adults, taking part in the Festival prijateljstva (Friendship’s festival), organizing and taking part in various cultural events in our local community.
