Tourist Information Center The Cerknica Tourist Information Center is a treasury of information on the “Martin Krpan country” around Cerknica Lake, whose mysterious disappearance is a natural wonder. They also offer information about the area’s numerous bicycling and forest education trails.
The amazing Cerknica Lake, which now you see and now you don’t, enchants visitors with its numerous natural phenomena and diverse flora and fauna. The lake fills in spring and during rainy periods. Around it, the lake offers numerous possibilities for trips on the bicycle and forest education trails, and you can also tour Rakov Škocjan Regional Park and Mount Slivnica, long known as a gathering place of witches.
