Tourist Information Center 

Štanjel is certainly one of the oldest settlements in the karst region.
The Štanjel Tourist Information Center offers tourist information and organizes guided tours with qualified local guides through Štanjel and the wider surroundings of the Komen Karst.
We will be happy to take you through picturesque medieval Štanjel, where behind the walls of the castle hide the Lojze Spacal Gallery, a typical karst house, a church, and the famous Ferrari Garden. The Fabiani Trail offers a longer walk, and if you want to experience the real karst, the villages of Sveto pri Komnu, Volčji Grad, Hruševica, and Gorjansko invite you to visit them and there are numerous trails across the karst landscape.
