Slovenia is one of the three European countries which has calculated focus named Geometric center of Slovenia. In the year 1982 the monument mark was built, granite pillar decorated with silhouette of Slovenia, and written verse of anthem and the data about location in height, and also named sponsors of the marking project. Beside the mark stands the national coat o arm and flutter Slovenian flag. There stands a table with the Slovenian independence day and the date on which Slovenia becomes member of United nation organization. An enlarged copy of the Vaška Situla, a figuratively decorated bronze ceremonial vessel found here, stands near the village Vače. Close by is also a monument that marks the Geometric center of Slovenia (GEOSS). Village Vače is an excellent starting point for walks in the Posavje hills.
