The one storey baroque building was reconstructed in the second half of the 19th century. Simple in form, this town house was the place of birth of Dr. Janez Bleiweis (1808 - 1881), the slovene economist, politician, writer and editor of »Kmetijske in rokodelske novice« (»Agricultural and Handicraftsman’s news«).He was also the most important personality in the Slovene veterinary medicine in the 19th century. The memory plaque was bulit in the façade in 1981. An old name for house was »Šprajcer«.
