The two-storeyed building proves by its ground plan and by its architectural forms its origin in an aristocratic manor house. From the year 1495 to the 17th century it was owned by the aristocratic family of the Egks. In the first half of the 18th century its owners were barons Floding. It passed later by the ownership of merchants and brewers to Mihael Pagliaruzzi noble Khiselstein, who reconstructed it in the years between 1834 and 1847. this renewal gave the house its classicist character, mostly expresed by its main façade with a pillar portal, by its colonnade verstibule, staircase and courtyard arcades from the middle of the 19th century (1855) the house was owned by the faomus Kranj familly Mayr
