Work on your ski turn techniques with Slovenia’s ski instructors, who for decades have been honing the development of skiing techniques for both recreational and competitive skiers. All the bigger Slovenian ski centres and most of the smaller ones offer licensed ski instructors for hire. They offer individual or group lessons at prices that compare favourably with neighbouring countries. The schools often also offer rental of all ski equipment, and in Slovenia children up to 14 years old must wear a ski helmet. There are 15 ski schools in Slovenia that hold licenses to teach skiing.
