The Slovenian Tourist Board has given great importance and role to innovations in tourism for many years. Innovative tourist products and services in Slovenia may be recognised by the Sejalec award presented by the Slovenian Tourist Board since 2004. Those innovations are awarded that contribute to greater recognisability of Slovenia’s tourist offer. The Sejalec award was presented to Celica Hostel in Ljubljana, Thermal Riviera of Terme Čatež, the cycling trip through Panonske Terme, the tourist farm Kekčeva domačija, the portal Sloveniabike.com, the passenger terminal at the Port of Koper, the Igloo Village Krvavec, the Taste Slovenia culinary centre, and Bohinj Park ECO Hotel.
