The Church of Saint Cross is located just under the peak of Soteska on the top of belvedere hill. 
It was built about the year 1500.
It is painted by several qualitative frescoes, which are the most beautiful ones from the period of late Gothic realism in Slovenia.
The frescoes illustrates the fragments of the legends of Saint Urh whom the church was originally consecrated to and the legends of Saint Korbinian.
Three  "golden altars" from the 17th century with Venetian and Alpine characteristics are also worthy of your admiration.
