Some decades ago their restaurant, Topli val, became famous for its exceptionally fresh sea food; it retains that reputation to this day as a meeting place of the mountains and the sea, the Alps and the Adriatic, with its wonderful meat dishes and deliciously prepared fish.

The restaurant Topli val is famous for its 27-year long tradition as excellent fish restaurant, where simple seafood and freshwater fish dishes are no longer simple, but rather a work of art, such as: trout roll in fennel sauce, crawfish with polenta, shellfish on Dalmatian, salt-covered bass, Norway haddock, turbot with potatoes from the oven, čemaževi štruklji with fish filling, forest berries, kobariški orehovi štruklji (dumplings with nut filling), etc.
