Grajska ulica 14 4264 Bohinjska Bistrica
In a marvelous alpine valley with unspoiled nature and the glacial Lake Bohinj, a pearl worth experiencing, stands a manor once owned by Baron Žiga Zois, botanist, ironworks owner, and patron of Slovene literature.
The manor and its outbuildings have been adapted for tourism with a restaurant in the medieval style that can accommodate 80 guests. In good weather, we serve on a partially covered terrace with 120 seats.
Beside the Bistrica stream close to the manor, we offer you a spot for family and group picnics.
In the Zoisov grad Restaurant, we serve original dishes, house specialties, and chef's specialties such as Zois steak with boletus mushrooms, Emperor steak with asparagus, the Manor platter, and genuine Bohinj trout.
Vegetarians and our youngest guests also get a share of our attention as we try to satisfy their every culinary wish.
Good food should be accompanied by good, high quality wines, and we therefore serve a rich selection of Štajerska and Primorska bottled wines. During the grape harvest we offer a special selection of open wines from the Bizeljsko winegrowing district.
Twenty-five varieties of pizza from the open-hearth oven are available for all lovers of good pizza, which can be accompanied by Slovene and imported beer from well-known breweries.
We look forward to your visit.
