Bukovniško jezero is a small lake, measuring only 7 hectares, near Bukovnica na Goričkem. Although carp are present, most fishermen here are after bream. In addition to the bream, the lake also has grass carp (also known as white amur), pike and pike-perch.
Gajševsko jezero (77 ha) is similar to this. It was built by damming the Ščavnica river and has in places merged well with the natural environment, in which numerous creatures have found their homes. The lake is inhabited by carp, grass carp, bream, pike-perch, pike and wels.
