The Slovenian Tourist Board (STB) is the national umbrella tourist board, whose purpose is to plan and carry out the promotion of the country as a tourist destination, primarily in foreign markets.
STB is the national tourist board, and the only such institution in Slovenia.

EDEN project in Slovenia
Slovenia has become an EDEN project partner in 2008. Following selection criterias and conditions a participating member state each year chooses the national destination of excellence, within the beforehand selected EDEN theme. In 2012 Slovenia is taking part in EDEN project, for the 5th time in a row. Instead of selecting new European destinations of excellence, this year’s EDEN project concentrates on promotion of already chosen destinations and of project itself.
