Ana’s Trail was named after the owner of an old local farmhouse with a “black kitchen.”

The trail takes two and a half hours of moderate walking and is suitable for families. From the center of Dobrna, the trail leads past the romantic Ružička Villa (1876) and the 17th-century Dobrnica Manor with its Baroque facade to the Knajp spring. From the Ledenice Cave, ascend beside the waterfalls of the Drenovec stream toward the clearing for picnics, and in season pick some chanterelle mushrooms along the way.

Sample the homemade salami and inspect the old blacksmith’s shop at the Marošek farm, and check out the “black kitchen” at the Šumejeva farm.

The Flisov crucifix, Vida the herbalist, the Blažičev kozolec and bee house, the Švabova chapel, the ostrich farm, and the Late Gothic Church of Sv. Miklavž are also worth visiting.

At the end of the trail, treat yourself to a short break and the wonderful view from the viewpoint bench.
