The footpath from »Škofja Loka« ascents pass the »Loški grad« castle. By its walls it leads towards the »Grebenar' home« and along the upper past to a forest. Close by there is the entrance to the "Hudičev brezen" (Devil's abyss) where in winter you can feel warm air coming out of it and melting the snow around the entrance. The area is karstic the proof of which are numerous sinkholes, gulfs and caves, which can be visited with the cave explorers of the Caving Club Škofja Loka. The most well-known is »Kevderc« with nice calcareous sinters of caves. Here are also some archaeological sites proving the existence of a Neolith man.
Following the signposts at the pass called «Kobila« we can choose the path leading across the »Luža«, pass the »Gabrovo« village to the very top of the »Lubnik« mountain offering a beautiful view in sunny and clear days. Helping us orientate there is the directional slab with engraved names of nearby and more distant mountains. The Alpine mountain hut, managed by the Mountaineering Club Škofja Loka, offers its visitors refreshment and lodging. We descent along the same path but soon (where the path slightly straightens), turn left and follow the old crest path, marked recently. After the rain extra caution is needed since the terrain is slippery. The path then leads to the »Selška Sora« river. Along the river there leads a nice footpath further to the »Vincarje« settlement. There are only »few steps« to the town square.
