The Mara Rupena Trail, the turning E7 from Dolenjske Toplice through Dobrnič to Žužemberk, is approximately 20 km long and demands up to 5 hours of gently sloping walk. It partly leads through forests, partly across the hilly winegrowing Dolenjska region of the plain Ajdovska planota, it crosses the typical karstic field Globodol, ascends the winegrowing Šmaver, and then descends to Dobrnič. From there it takes you along the wine producing and woody slope of Lisca to Žužemberk. Along a shorter part of the trail, the path branches off and connects with the marked Baraga Trail. The trail is also suitable for mountain biking. 


A walk is organised at the beginning of October.
