Tunnel Šalet
The tunnel for the former narrow gauge railway Trieste – Poreč in Jagodje was built at the beginning of the 20th century and it is completely covered in blocks of hewed local stone. It is 244 meters long.
The railway line Parenzana was abolished in August 1935. After that the tunnel served as a warehouse, mushroom-growing tunnel, etc. Nowadays the tunnel is renovated, illuminated, and turned into a Path of health and friendship for walks or cycling.
