You are invited to Haloze for half-day, one-day or several-day excursions, hiking or a picnic. You can see cultural, historical and natural attractions such as:
the most beautiful Gothic church in Slovenia on Ptujska Gora, Borl Castle from the 11th century, the tourist village of Halonga or Šturmovci Regional Park, where interesting flora is to be found and is a nesting ground of rare species of birds. On various farms you can try the delicacies of Haloze: homemade bread from the farmhouse oven, Haloze gibanica cake, 'oprešak' and homemade goat cheese. Some housewives will even show you these delicacies are prepared.
