Day 1: Drive to Cerknica and visit the museum to examine the model of the famous disappearing Cerknica Lake. The tour continues to Nova vas for dinner and overnight accommodations.
Day 2: After breakfast, a tour of Snežnik Castle and the Dormouse Museum. A possible visit to the very interesting Križna jama Cave, and a stop at the unique pilgrimage church in Nova Štifta; in the afternoon, a tour of Ribnica and its museum. Drive to Kočevje for dinner and overnight accommodations.
Day 3: After breakfast, you can visit the museum, and then a drive south to Kostel Castle and along the Kolpa River, where the Schengen border runs, to Vinica. The tour continues through Črnomelj and the Dolenjske Toplice Health Resort and along the valley of the Krka River with stops at Soteska Castle with the Technical Museum and Hudičev turn, Dvor (remains of ironworks), Žužemberk Castle, the travertine dams on the Krka River, churches, and the source of the Krka River near the village of Krka.
