Day 1: An excursion to the picturesque hamlet of Hrastovlje and a tour of its famous walled church with frescoes from 1490. A longer walk or a bicycle ride in the pristine valley of the Dragonja River, the greenest area in Slovene Istria.
Day 2: A tour of Izola, an old fishing town with a rich history, and a visit to the Parenzana Museum . The old part of the city lies on a former island. A visit to the Strunjan Nature Reserve and its four-kilometer-long and up to 80-meter-high flysch cliff; the contact of the sea and land is entirely preserved in the richness of its natural forms and processes.
Day 3: Visit to Piran and the Maritime Museum. Piran is an old Mediterranean port city with narrow streets and is itself a large museum with a preserved medieval foundation, interesting architecture, and a rich cultural heritage.
