2.1.2013 Naziv ang : Idrija and Almaden received the UNESCO document Povzetek : At a UNESCO World Heritage Committee meeting in Sankt Peterburg on 30 June 2012, a decision was made that the nominated mining heritage in Idrija and Almaden shall enter the Unesco World Heritage List.
At a ceremony in Idrija on 12 December 2012, six months after this important decision, Petya Totcharova, an important representative of the World Heritage Centre from Paris and deputy director of the World Centre covering the geographical area of Europe, officially handed over the Unesco document to the towns of Idrija and Almaden.
