In addition to the beautiful countryside and the unique atmosphere of Alpine pastures, Krvavec affords wonderful views of the Ljubljana valley and the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. The varied terrain of the ski resort turns into an oasis for hikers and mountain-bikers in summer, while paragliders add additional flair. Krvavec is also well-known for its numerous herbal and other medicinal plants, which colour the meadows in summer. A pleasant hike to Plečnik’s chapel, which was built in 1929, is always a popular option.
