
The
Kaluder Stream springs from below the north walls of
Briceljk (
2347 m).
It is the left tributary of the
Koritnica, which has three waterfalls and springs below the
Loške stene walls.
The lower part is surrounded with mixed, mainly beech forest and is suitable for smaller guided groups.
Individual sections of the
Kaluder riverbed and especially its upper part once one leaves the forest, is appropriate for experienced visitors only.
The technical demands increase quickly with the elevation.
The upper section of the
Kaluder stream is not suitable for visiting in winter or spring time due to the danger of avalanches.
Its water is
drinkable.
