The Širčeva House where composer Friderik Širca (better known as Risto Savin) was born has been standing since 1669.
Savin composed the first Slovene Neo-Romantic opera “Lepa Vida” and the well-known opera “Matija Gubec” and the ballet “Plesna legendica.” He also wrote piano, chamber music, and choir works.
Today, the house contains the Savin Memorial Room, an art salon, and the Gallery of Savinja Valley Artists.

The Dore Klemenčič Maj Gallery and the exhibition and sales gallery of works by renowned designer Oskar Kogoj.
