The open-air museum comprises the Dolenčeva kajža cottage, a vivid display of the life of a Gorenjska region kajžar, owner of a small plot of land, the birthplace of writer Fran S. Finžgar (1871–1962), hayrack and barn. The house features an exhibition which provides an insight into the life and work of Fran S. Finžgar.
