Only a few kilometres from Ljubljana, in the heart of the Polhograjski Dolomiti National Park lies a tiny pearl – Polhov Gradec. The village, renowned for its rich cultural and natural heritage, was also a home to Count Blagaj - who is famous for discovering Daphne Blagayana, a flower named after him. In 1838 even Saxon King came to see this famous newly discovered flower.

Wonderful nature and a friendly home of Count Blagaj offer a unique opportunity to experience different time - without hurry, where you have time to socialise and chat. Join Count Blagaj and his lovely wife Antonija for a cup of herbal tea they enjoy drinking with other guests in their salon! They will treat you with delicious royal bread, rose butter, all flavours of Slovene honey and rose liquor. Yet, this is not all – their home conceals other delicious green secrets and who knows what they are planning for this Friday.

In the manor, you can visit the Museum of Post and Telecommunications and Local museum, or simply stroll along Blagaj trail.

Join Count Blagaj for a cup of tea on Fridays at 3.30 pm (prior application necessary).

Admission includes local guide, ticket to both museums, reception, programme and tea party.
