The bike route »Cerknica lake – Rakov Škocjan canyon« takes us through the Javornik mountain to the biggest disappearing lake in Slovenia, Cerknica lake. Here you can enjoy swimming in beautiful nature, canoeing, horse-riding, circular drive with a traditional cart or home made food in one of many tourist farms. Cerknica lake is the right place also for fishermen, bird and animal lovers and botany enthusiasts. On the way back to Postojna we visit another natural gallery, the Rakov Škocjan regional park. The path around the park is an ideal way to see and learn about all the sights. For those who are not in the mood for walking, we recomend bathing in the Rak stream and enjoying delicious food on the terrase of the nearby guesthouse.
