The Ormož Bicycle Trail is forty-one kilometers long and because of its constant ascents and descents ranks among the more demanding trails in Slovenia, so we recommend that you make several stops along the way and reserve an entire day for the trip.
The trail runs as follows: Ormož (Hotel Ormož)–Mihovci–Velika Nedelja–Trgovišče–Sodinci–Vičanci–Sejanci–Bratonečice–Savci–Sv. Tomaž–Koračice–Stara cesta–Žerovinci–Radomerščak–Plešivica–Jeruzalem–Mali Brebrovnik–Vinski vrh–Pavlovci–Hardek–Ormož. We suggest that you visit the castle in Velika Nedelja, enjoy a picnic stop at the fishpond in Savci, and visit the birth house of Franc Miklošič in Radomerščak. At the highest point on the trail, you can see where you have ridden from the viewpoint tower in Jeruzalem, and the beautiful Church of Žalostna Mati Božja is just a few meters away. During the long descent to Ormož, you can relax a bit and admire the beauty of Slovenske Gorice.
