From Dobrovo, the trail takes you to the village of Neblo where you turn off toward Golo Brdo. Ride across Peternel to the natural attraction of Kotline, the chutes, rapids, and waterfalls created by the Kožbanjšček stream. In the middle of the first chute you’ll find the Krčnik natural bridge. You’ll remember it for its smoothly polished surface. Continues through Kožbana to Vrhovlje pri Kožbani. The Church of Sv. Andrej here is a typical Primorska type with a pavilion and a bell tower thaz conceals the most beautiful 15th-century Brda frescoes. The pictures of angels with musical instruments are just wonderful. In the village of Golo Brdo, discover why its church is called Marija na jezeru (“Mary on the Lake”) even though it stands on a hill. In April, you can admire a habitat of the high-mountain cowslip (Primula auricula) barely 100 meters above sea level. The village of Breg pri Golem Brdu hosts a permanent exhibition of ceramic products on the Skubin homestead. You can enjoy a typical Brda meal at the Breg Tourist Farm and then return to Dobrovo via Neblo.
