The hut is located above the peak of Uršlja gora or Plešivec (1699 m) near the church of sv. Uršula (St. Ursula).
In the restaurant area there are 100 seats, a bar counter; there are 120 seats at the tables in front of the hut; there are 11 rooms with 60 beds, 22 communal beds; toilets, washing room with warm and cold water; there is the central heating in the new part of the hut; rainwater, electricity, mobile phone.
The view:
From Uršlja gora there is an extensive view. On the east and southeast lie the valleys Mislinjska, Šaleška and Spodnja Savinjska dolina, one can clearly see Slovenj Gradec, Velenje and Šoštanj, behind are Pohorje, Paški Kozjak, Gora Oljka and the Posavje Hills (Posavsko hribovje); towards the south are Smrekovec, Golte, Dobrovlje, the Menina Plateau (Menina planina), and behind Bele Vode one can see apart of the Upper Savinja Valley (Gornja Savinjska dolina); from the southwest to the northwest range Raduha, Olševa, the Savinja Alps, Peca and the alpine pasture Svinška planina; on the north lies Mežiška dolina Valley with Ravne and Prevalje; at the foot of Uršlja gora one can see the lake Ivarčko jezero, Kotlje and Preški Vrh, on the right is the hilly Selovec behind the valley Strojna and Črneška gora, and behind lies Golica; on the northeast one can see a part of the Drava Valley (Dravska dolina) with Košenjak above it. When the visibility is good the Julian Alps with s Triglav, Visoke Ture and the Panonian plain can be seen as well.
Access By car:
to the parking place at the transport cable car from where it takes 30 minutes to the hut: along the local road from Slovenj Gradec through Podgorje to the settlement Plešivec, continuing by the forest road, 23km (asphalt to Sv. Duh, 7k m) and along the local road from Ravne na Koroškem through Kotlje to the mountain hut Koča na Naravskih ledinah, continuing by the forest road, which joins the forest road from the settlement Plešivec, 15km (asphalt to the farm Šrotnek, 5k m). The BS Slovenj Gradec, Mežica, Žerjav, Črna na Koroškem; The RS, BS Ravne na Koroškem, Prevalje, Šoštanj: from Slovenj Gradec along the SPP (Slovenian Alpine Trail) 4h30; from Ravne past Smučarska koča hut and across Kozji hrbet 3h; from Ravne through Kotlje and past Ivarčko jezero Lake to the saddle where it joins the road from Slovenj Gradec, 4h; from Prevalje across Kot or Podkraj 4h; from Mežica across Sv. Lenart 4h30; from Žerjav past the hut Koča na Naravskih ledinah 3h; from Črna through Javorje and past Križan 3h30; from Šoštanj through Zavodnje and past the hut Andrejev dom na Slemenu 7h (on working days there is the bus to Zavodnje).
Interesting tours:
Uršlja gora is a distinctive solitary peak and is therefore the most convenient for individual tours.
