Dom na Peci mountain hut, , , mountains hut alps cottage hiking alpine shelter, The hut is located on the clearing close above the peak on the east side of Mala Peca (1731 m). In two restaurant areas there are 80 seats, a bar counter; there are 60 seats at the tables in front of the hut; there are 18 rooms with 81 beds, 19 communal beds; toilets, washing rooms with warm and cold water on all floors, the restaurant areas are heated by stoves, running water, electricity, telephone; transport cable car. In the hut Mladinski dom there are 8 beds; warm and cold drinks and beverages are served; larger groups should notify their arrival in advance. The view: From the hut there is a beautiful view towards the north and east only, the view towards the south is hidden by Mala Peca, and towards the west near the hut rises the east slope of Peca. On the north one can see Strojna and Golica behind it, towards the east are Uršlja gora and Pohorje. From the nearby Mala Peca, where stands the viewing table with the marked viewing directions, on the south one can see Smrekovško pogorje with Smrekovec, Komen and Travnik, Raduha and Olševo, and towards the southwest the eastern part of the Savinja Alps with Ojstrica. From there is a beautiful view on the east walls of Peca. Acces by car: to the parking place Jakobi on the slope of Peca, from where it takes 35 minutes to the hut: from Mežica along the local road through Podkraj and past a former border guardhouse on Torčevo to the turning-off of the forest road and along it to Jakobi 12km; from Črna na Koroškem along the local asphalt road to Podpeca (Helena) to Helensko razpotje (4,5k m), from there along the forest road past Mihevo to Torčevo and to Jakobi 16km. From Črna by car of by smaller bus also by the local road (4,5km asphalt) to the mine in the vicinity of Končnik in Topla (1120 m) 10km, from where it takes 2h to the hut along the TV (transversal).
