Mountain hut Poerzen, , Cerkno, mountains hut alps cottage hiking alpine shelter, The mountain hut is located on the north side a little below the peak of Porezen (1630 m). In the two restaurant areas there are 40 seats, a bar counter; there are 50 seats at the tables in front of the hut; there are 6 rooms with 20 beds; 24 communal beds, toilet; washing room and shower with cold and warm water, in the first restaurant area there is the farmhouse stove; rainwater, generator, mobile phone. In 1998 the hut obtained the photo-voltage system for the electric supply in the framework of the ecological improvement of mountain huts. The view There is an extremely beautiful view from Porezen. On the east side there is a nearby Davča, behind it Škofja Loka mountains (Škofjeloško pogorje) with Blegoš, and farther lie the Polhov Graeec Hills (Polhograjsko hribovje), the Ljubljana Basin (Ljubljanska kotlina) and the Posavje Hills (Posavsko hribovje); on the south side first the steep slopes of Porezen can be seen with a narrow valley of Zapoška with Poče and Cerkno, the peaks of Idrija Hills (Idrijsko hribovje) hills with Bevkov vrh and Kojca, and behind lie Trnovski gozd, Nanos, Javorniki and Snežnik; on the southwest one can see over Banjšice towards the Friulian plain (Furlanska nižina); towards the west the slopes of Porezen descend to Baška grapa, and above it there are the peaks of the Tolmin mountains and Matajur in the background, when the weather is clear one can see the Dolomites behind it; on the north there is Baška grapa and above it rise the peaks of the Lower Bohinj Mountains (Spodnje Bohinjskr gore) with Kobla, Črna prst, Rodica and Vogel, on the south slopes one can see the villages Stržišče and Rute, and behind the central part of the Julian Alps with Triglav; in the foreground on the right are Slatnik, Lajnar, and Dravh above Soriška planina alpine pasture and Ratitovec, and on the horizon are Karavanke and the Kamnk Alps. Access Car: along the local asphalt road from Zali Log (Davški most) along the Davščica to Zgornja Davča 10km, and along the forest road on Medrce alpine pasture (1410 m) 8km, from where it takes 30 minutes to the hut; along the asphalt road Cerkno-Črni vrh to the turning of the forest road towards Porezen in Gorenji Novaki 18km, from there past Bičkar to Razpotje, where it joins the road from Zg.
