The Medljan Horseback Riding Club, with its headquarters on the Medljan Farm in Cetore, is only 5 kilometres distant from Izola and is located among the green hills of the Slovenian Istria. The Club was formally established in 1996; however, it started operating already in 1991. It has more than 60 members of different ages, including children and pensioners. Currently there are 17 horses of different breeds in the stable, some of which are intended for the horseback riding school, while 10 horses are the owners’ private property.
