The sunny Vipava Valley offers many things to see and do in every season, but a visit to the Malovščevo excursion farm is especially pleasant in fall when the wind rattles sound over the vineyards and at harvest time.

You will be offered delicious homemade food such as pršut (prosciutto), salami, jota (barley and vegetable stew) and beef soup, buckwheat polenta, beef or pork roast with gravy, fried potatoes with cracklings, gnocchi, freshly baked bread, fresh salads, and sweets like apple strudel. Wine tasting is offered in the farm's old wine cellar, and guests can also buy wine to take home. A selection of fine wines is on offer, including varieties of Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Merlot, Rebula, Barbera, and more.

And after a good meal, it's time to set off and acquaint yourself with the Vipava Valley, either on foot or by bicycle. One can also visit Nova Gorica, the Soča River valley, and the nearby karst villages.
