Max Club has been functioning since 1991. They included concerts of many kinds early after it was founded. They had a lot of rock concerts in Velenje's Rdeča Dvorana and after the renovation they built up a concert stage, that became one of the key sets of musical activity in the city. At performances of the majority domestic and a few foreign creators of pop and rock music (Bajaga, Majke, Partibrejkers, Rambo Amadeus, Miladojka Youneed, Peter Lovšin, Magnifiko, Anja Rupel, Strelnikoff), they guided their concert activity's to Jazz. They've had two Jazz festivals and in year 2000 Max Club Clinic, where they had some top musicians from Austria, Croatia and Slovenia. They've had a few electronic nights in the club (techno, house and trance) in which their knowledge showed Bizzy, Dogaja, Umek, Aleksij ...
