At Lectar's, you will be enchanted by the house's homely atmosphere and age-old tradition. You will be served traditional Slovene dishes in the traditional ambience of the restaurant, in a large dining hall or on a shady terrace. At Lectar's, which is located in Radovljica's medieval Old Town, you can also spend a night or visit the in-house gingerbread workshop.

At Lectar Restaurant, you can choose for your soup to be served in cup made out of bread, treat yourself to a baked apple dessert, or indulge in an authentic rustic charcuterie. If the season allows, asparagus, dandelion and fresh porcini are on offer, while during the winter season sauerkraut, pork sausages, black pudding, turnip and other types of home-reared pork are recommended. Only the best Slovene wines are on offer.

The authentic atmosphere in the restaurant is complemented by its imaginatively dressed staff. All restaurant guests can visit, free of charge, the live gingerbread museum and workshop in the cellar, where gingerbread hearts and other products are still made from gingerbread in keeping with a time honoured tradition. Restaurant Lectar contains six separate rooms which can hold up to 220 guests in total.
