Milena is an excellent cook whose specialties include the Štajerska sour soup, potato and buckwheat žganci (groats), various pork goodies, cakes, and walnut potica. Martin is also a winegrower who provides good wines to enjoy with your meals. The family also organizes summer picnics for groups of children to acquaint them with farm life. There is plenty to do and see in the area, including Slovenske Konjice, the Carthusian monastery in Žice, blacksmithing and paper flower making at the neighbouring farms, the birthplace of Bishop Anton Martin Slomšek, and the health resorts at Rogaška Slatina and Atomske toplice.,]]>
