It is special because it is ours, and we like it here because it offers us everything we want: peace, the Krka river, wonderful surroundings, and the Dolenjske toplice spa resort is only a stone's throw away. Novo mesto is perhaps two stones' thows away, and Ljubljana is only 45 min away.Our kitchen cooks for all, for us as well as for our guests. We offer smoked trout, game, mushroom or zucchini soup in the autumn, and in the summer we offer side dishes made from fresh herbs and wild vegetables, and fruit delicacies or mamma's strudel for dessert. That means food provided by the Krka river, the nearby forest and our garden. There is always enough home-made bread on the table, from white to rye or buckwheat bread. The cviček type of wine is king in the Dolenjska region; however, our offer also includes Slovenian, Italian, white, red or sparkling wines.To make sure our guests don't just sit and eat, they can also do some exercise by playing tennis, table tennis, volleyball, football, take a hike or a bicycle ride to the nearby vineyards to try some home-made wine, take a detour through the forest to see if there are any mushrooms or try to catch some fish in the Krka river. In the winter, skiing is also possible on the nearby ski slopes. The hardest-working ones can enjoy a day in the Dolenjske toplice spa resort.,]]>
