The Ljubica farm owned by the Stanonik family is situated amid solitary meadows with a view of the Škofja Loka hills, the Karavanke Mountains, and the Julian Alps. The food, from the vegetables and milk and milk products to the meat and dried meat products, as well as the brandy, is all homemade. In the forest nearby, guests can pick blueberries and gather mushrooms, and there are several beautiful summits in the Škofja Loka hills that hikers can explore. In the winter, guests can go skiing on Stari vrh or in Cerkno, and for the less advanced skiers, there is a ski lift close by the house. The Stanoniks like taking their guests for drives in their carriage or on the hay wagon, and after a pleasant drive on a warm summer's day, a dip in the pool beside the house is an ideal way to round off the day. The Ljubica farm also specializes in organizing nature study programs for children.
