The Na Hribu farm lies on the eastern edge of the Vipavska Brda hills in the settlement called Slap. There are fewer than 400 inhabitants in the village, ensuring that guests at Na Hribu will have a peaceful stay.

The Žorž family are more than happy to spend time with their guests, sharing with them the traditions of the Vipava region and teaching them all about the medicinal herbs that grow in the surrounding area. Their hospitality doesn't stop there however, as you will surely agree once you have tasted their wonderful food. Try the traditional jota (barley and vegetable stew), herb omelettes, homemade pršut (prosciutto), salamis, pancetta, rabbit stew, roast pork, and pickled cucumber or mushroom side dishes. You will drink homemade red wines (Merlot, Barbera, Cabernet-Sauvignon) and white wines (Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Zelen, Laški Rizling).

Two kilometers away, Vipava offers a modern wine cellar and the old Lanthieri castle. Štanjel, a typical medieval karst village built from local stone and encircled by a wall, is only 12 kilometers from Slap. Guests can climb on Mount Nanos and bicycle in the Vipava Valley, and the sky is often bull of hang gliders in summer.
