The Pekav farm is in the picturesque Carinthian village of Šentanel, which entices visitors with its architecture as well as beautiful views across Uršlja gora, Peca, Raduha and Podjuna.

Guests may taste the delights of Carinthian cuisine on the farm, including ‘kločovi nudlni’ (a typical local dish of pasta with a pear filling), Carinthian horseradish, cottage cheese with pumpkin oil, cottage cheese or buckwheat štruklji, potica or black and rye bread baked in the wood oven. Vegetarians will also be delighted with the selection available to them.
Lovers of a good drop of wine will be interested to find out that the village in which lies the Pekav tourist farm is famous for excellent and high-quality ‘must’ or young wine ‘gushing’ from its barrels…

The farm is an excellent starting point for nature walks and visits to the surrounding towns, which boast diverse cultural and tourist attractions. Visitors to Mežica are recommended to combine their tour of the town with a visit to the mining museum. Those interested in literature should not miss a visit to Prežihovina, the house where Lovro Kuhar – Prežihov Voranc was born. Other attractions include the Povhov mill and the towns of Prevalje, Ravne and Slovenj Gradec.
