Youth hostel Pliskovica is arranged in a tipical carsic region house (300-400 years old) and it is a cultural and architectonic monument. It is an important part of the carsic and slovenian story, because it has all, that once the carsic coulture had.
The farm is divided in two important parts. One is the house, where the farmers lived and skedenj, a building that was once for the animals and farmers nature products -  barn.
Around the houses we have a lot of space for many activitys. We have a fotbool ground and a wolley ground. 
Tipical arcitectonic parts of a carsic house:
- fireplace,
- izpahnjenica (fireplace near the house building),
- the roof coverd with thin stone (skrle),
- porton - the entrance in the farm made in stone,
 - cokol,
- very steep stairs,
- gank - the balcony in wood,
- the upstairs flors in wood,
- the common rooms with the floors in stone,
- very steep roof in the barn.
