Beside the main road at a sharp and narrow curve stand two granaries for storing food that are now protected monuments. Farmers stored crops in the granaries because there was only one harvest each year.

In the old times, granaries were the only buildings made from stone other than churches. The Prežljeva granary is from 1542, and the Španova granary south of the road is from 1604.
