The Church of St. Cyril and St. Methodius is one of two churches of the Greek Catholic religion in Slovenia. The second one, St. Svetica with its cemetery, is located in Draga near Suhor. The Church in Metlika was built in 1903 and seats approximately 50 people. The local Greek Catholic priest is the only Slovenian iconographer. He has already had dozens of exhibitions of his work around Slovenia and around the world. In addition to icons and iconostases in the church, we can also see the works of the local artist Jernej Jereb.
